Happy 58th birthday Singapore! While it is timely to reflect on how far we have come since Singapore’s independence, it is also an opportunity for us to look forward towards the Singapore we envision for the future. For me, the Singapore I wish to see is one where we care for one another like family and respect one another for our diverse origins, views and choices.
