Happy International Women’s Day!
Last Saturday, I attended a dinner organised by Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry to celebrate the progress of Singapore women. I was happy to meet the Ambassador of Brazil, Ms Eugenia Barthelmess, the host of our table, Mr George Goh (no, not George Goh Ching Wah 😁), and other businessmen and women.
This International Women’s Day, I am proud that Singapore women have made much progress in many areas of society, but there is still room for improvement.
